Hantaran Pinta

Paduka Raja penguasa semesta,
hamba hantarkan selaksa pinta:
bukan yang indah pun sempurna,
dalam bahasa jauh sempurna.
sudilah Paduka mendengar dan merasa,
memilih dan memutuskan,
mengambil dan memberikan.
hamba taat titah Paduka,
hamba percaya.

Morning and the sun

Morning awakes then dash to see her sun. She finds him asleep covered with thick cloudy blanket.
Gently she rubs his head and whispers: "Rise and shine, my sun! Rise and shine!"
The sun twinkles his beautiful big eyes. Smilingly he says: "What are we going to do, today?
Morning opens the shade and from her mouth the words comes out like a melody: "We are going to see the world!"
The sun without hesitating hugs her tightly while she pats him lovingly. "Let's take a shower, dear" she murmurs.
She then showers him with a cold gentle dew and clothes him with a glamorous reddish robe. "Now you're ready, my shining sun! The world will be happy to see you today." 
The sun surges toward the world while shouting "See you at dinner...!"

Birthday

Birthday is not just adding numbers:
Party for kids below 13, misery for single over 30s
Birthday is not just cheering for baileys:
One glass for happiness, one bottle for life adversities
Birthday is not just eating noodles:
Expecting for long and prosperous life, forgetting slight of wrinkles
Birthday is not just blowing candles:
Making plenty of wishes in the midst of anxieties


Birthday comes beyond:
It's a meeting point of the past and the future


The past would give you notes of history while mumbling about your failures sometimes achievements. Then pointing out your mistakes not to mention all those silliness. Don't be discourage if it wouldn't give you standing ovation. There would be some claps in the corner.


The future would probably give you tons of possibilities and dreams. Don't get too excited. You might still stumble to catch those. "Be realistic; never loose hope," the saying says. That's so true. Keep that in mind. You might need it when uncertainty comes. 


Now you understand why birthday comes beyond numbers or baileys or noodles or candles. It's more than birth day. It's your life days.
